Our trainee program pairs you with senior inspectors for hands-on field experience while you complete New York State licensing requirements. You'll learn every system of the home and how to report on it from a team with decades of construction background.
What You'll Do
Shadow licensed inspectors on real inspections across the Hudson Valley.
Learn report writing, client communication, and inspection tools and technology.
Complete NYS-approved home inspector training and licensing coursework with our support.
Assist with ancillary services such as radon and water testing as you build skills.
What We're Looking For
Hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or a related trade preferred.
Strong work ethic, curiosity, and a commitment to doing the job right.
Comfortable with physical work: ladders, roofs, crawl spaces, and varied weather.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
